With Foxy off the needles, all my attention has been for the cropped cardi. As you can see, I'm very close to finishing. Just 10 rounds of ribbing on that last sleeve, then I can do the front bands.
I have to take Mom to the orthopaedic specialist today (she cracked her knee cap on Monday.... OUCH!) so I expect to be able to get some, if not all, of that done today.

Oh, no! So sorry to hear it- I hope she recovers in record time.
Good on the sweater, but sheesh .....not so good for Mom. Hope the dr. can make her feel all better.
ouch that is a very painful injury . Glad you can knit while you help her out
Yeah for finishing, boo for cracked knee caps. I am sure Jem is going to be a great help with her recovery, not! But at least she will give lots of love.
Poor mom! That does hurt. I wear thick gel pads on my knees when I skate because I've done that once too often myself.
Love the cardi. That handspun is glorious!
OH OH! That's not good news! Makes my knees hurt just hearing about that. Sounds like your Mom may be spending some time on crutches. Hope it heals fast for her!
Oh dear on the kneecap, wish her the best from me! I'm enjoying watching the cardi, my next garment should be a handspun jersey, just have to finish the last of the spinning.
