Look, Ma! Knitting!

The weather's been beautiful the last couple of days, so it's hard to stay in an knit... but I have been trying to put in a few hours here and there.
I decided to be a good girl, put the shawl/shrug design aside, and focus on getting Empire done.

It will be too warm for both projects soon, so it doesn't really matter which gets done first. And I just have a feeling if I put Empire down for too long, I'll have a heck of a time picking it back up. So the back is done, and the first front is under way.

If I can just resist the lure of the gardens....

Hurray for crocuses! Spring is finally here!

The Empire looks like a crocus or even lilacs so that should help you work on it!
Very pretty yarn/pattern!

I hear ya. Nice weather puts the kabosh on indoor projects. I shouldn't complain but I do miss the cozy couch with a lap full of knitting and a mug of tea on those long gray afternoons of winter.

Love your choice of colour, so pretty. Yes it is hard to stay out of the garden's. Isn't it beautiful today?
Have a good day.

Empire will be gorgeous when finished (actually it's already gorgeous). Down here, everything started to pop open this weekend (garden-wise). I do believe Spring has arrived to stay!!

I know what you mean! I keep thinking I'll find some time during the day to do a bit of knitting, but the outdoors call...
