Double dye day

It's a good thing it's a long weekend here in Canada - I've had a busy two days. Yesterday was a visit with my most favourite people in the world - Samantha and Los Trios Diablos.

I forgot to take my camera to capture all our fun, but Samantha sent me this picture today:

Pretty in pink!

When Miss Lily saw my pink hair for the first time, she wanted it too. Her's is actually pink and purple streaks - and it's really just a few - they way her hair is styled and the lighting makes it looks like it's all over.

Today I was dyeing again - this time yarn.
Peacock slinky!

That's the yarn for my LeStrange Cardigan. Though I 'm thinking I may give it another soak in some black dye - I'd like it a little darker.

I also used the leftovers to make a few Twisted Slinky skeins for the shop

Black Dahlia
Tomorrow will be devoted to knitting I think! I've earned it now!

What an adorable little girl. If that dye had been around when I was her age, I would have been ALL OVER the purple.

Have you done this before, putting dyed yarn into a black dye bath? I like the effect you get from that very much.
Oh she's a pretty girl! I miss Samantha's updates on her pups.

The colors are beautiful. I love how Samantha took inspiration from your colorful influence. She does look absolutely great.
