Dwindling

The last few lazy days of summer are upon on us....

September is almost here, and honestly, I'm starting to feel a little frantic. I think I have too many projects on the needles. Socks, afghan, three shawls, dishcloths, cardigan... yeah... too many! Plus, Christmas  is drawing nearer, and there's several other projects I want to start for myself... not to mention the commissioned project I took on that's due in November.... or the patterns I need to write out for testing!

Yikes. Okay... deep breath....

I did manage to finish up half a pair of socks

This is a new design I'm working on - and I'm very pleased with it. Though really, I think I'm just enjoying the yarn! Mom does some excellent dyeing!

She really does. Your knitting shows off her yarn beautifully.

I hate the fact that school starts here next Wednesday or Thursday (guess I'd better find out which day!). That means winter is coming. I like the fall, but I really love summer and am not looking forward to it being cold and dark at suppertime!!

School went back in here last week and the place is deserted. Even the tourists have left our little beach town. It's kind of sad even though I am glad to see the end of the super hot weather.
Love the socks and the yarn! It's been chilly enough here on some mornings to have to wear socks again and my feet and I are both happy about it.

Your cat looks so relaxed...ready for the change of seasons!

I like that lacy sock pattern! NICE! The yarn shows it off very well.

I could not have so many projects on the needles...don't know how you do it!! Three at a time is about MAX for me.
