Actually, I can't really call it shopping - I already knew what I wanted, and he'd approved, so it was more like run into the mall and get out as quickly as possible (Dave's favourite kind of shopping.)
I'd been in Payless just before Hallowe'en and spied these beauties...
They are very comfortable too - the perfect addition to my collection.

I already got my b'day (16th) present from The Mister too. I wanted a small TV for the sewing room so I could watch my holiday DVD's. He threw one in the cart at Walmart on Sunday. Now if we could only figure out how to hook it up.....I need to go back for some wires.
They certainly look nice! How do you manage in winter? Wear boots to work, then change into shoes? Or is it sufficiently snow free to wear dressy shoes most of the time?
