Miles to go

This crazy, long bit of knitting...
Is the completed arms and back of Maeve. Maybe this pic will make more sense...
...well, maybe not. But I'll be picking up stitches all around that opening in the middle to create the big shawl collar. It's just miles of garter from here on out.
Thankfully the yarn is soft and squishy and a delight to work with. If I can keep at it, it shouldn't be too painful!

Put on a good movie and knit the night away!

I've got three sweaters and a vest in the finishing stages and you are making me itch to start another. I love everything about that one!

Oh your knitting makes that purple look exactly as you described, soft and squishy. You know I will be the first to talk about falling asleep at the needles of garter stitch, but it sure does knit up nicely. Can't wait to see it come together more.

I admire my sweater knitter pals so very much. Love your purple garter!

It looks impossible but one stitch at a time and you will see it grow! Nice to have soft and squishy yarn!

Right now I would die for some garter! I am doing cables and cables and color work, so I am not able to watch or read much with the knitting. Well, I guess they won't get done until I buckle down.
