Friday Felines

When I posted last Friday about Rupert's outdoor adventures, many of you speculated that there would be no keeping him in. If he was like Rocky, I would agree with you. We all remember what a pain Rocky was when he couldn't go out...

But Rupert is not Rocky. Oh he howls pretty good when he wants the door open. But he doesn't exactly want out...
He just wants to hang his head out...

... and lounge in the sun.
It's something he could do perfectly well with the screen closed... but no. He wants the best of both worlds.

I have never seen a cat do that. They either want to be all out and away or all in.

What a laugh! I have cats that are slow through the door but not a lounger like this! Too cute!

Omg! That is so funny! He just wants the best of both worlds. :-)

That is funny! Tyg will often take his time going out, but never lounges halfway. How can he be comfy laying on the track?

First of all, I love your name, Rupert! Secondly, you are a beautiful ginger boy, and if you want half of you inside and the other half out...so be it! Make it so!

Of course, Rupert's a Cat. My little rotund Tabster, Megs, is currently outside so the door is open. Thankfully this Winter;s day has got to 12C and there is no wind (very unusual for Wellington). Sending care and happy knitting thoughts, Michelle in Wellington, NZ =^..^=

That's cos he's a cat. My girls could come in and out using the cat door, but instead they'll sit at the front door and pluck at the screen until it gets opened. Has to be their way, not mine!
