Framed dragonflies

The Dragonfly blocks are stacking up
I've been sewing a few whenever I can, and as a result, I've got about 2/3 of them done.
It's shaping up to be a good-sized quilt. It's already covering most of my bed, and in addition to more squares, it's also going to have more pale green sashing between the squares.

Despite it's simplicity, I really love this pattern. With the right fabrics, you get a fabulous result with very little work. It would be a fantastic beginner projet.

I can't believe how fast you are knocking them out! It looks great.

Simple designs allow the fabric to be the star. This is going to be a beautiful quilt.

Purple!!! I haven't seen a dragon fly here yet this spring. BUt oh Val. WE have some daffodils, hyacinth, tulips and dandelions blooming. Someone at the barn told me horses love dandelions. So I've picked a bunch for today to give to the horses .
