Well this one really isn't a kitty...
But it was Rocky who alerted us to our visitors presence. Pics aren't great because I couldn't use the flash.
I know most people don't like them, but I think they are sweet. I wonder if this is the same one from a couple of years ago.
If you're wondering what he's enjoying so much, it's the paper that the fruit cake was wrapped in. Merry Christmas to all creatures... great and small

He/she has good taste for a critter! We have lots of them and they scare me because they hiss at me if I startle them pigging out at the kitty bowls. They have very sharp teeth so I keep my distance. The darn racoons are no better.
Oh my --- opossum!!!
A couple of summers ago, one was in an empty garbage can. Have you ever heard them screech?
awwww All Creatures Great and Small! They are kind of garbage pickers. Harmless
I might be a little scared of this guy...but he sure looks like he's enjoying some sweet remnants off the wrapping paper.
I love that he's digging the fruit cake wrapper. I think I prefer trash pandas. They can be total mean girls, but I dunno ... that pointy nose AND the prehensile tail ... maybe from a distance ;)
Did you know they eat roaches? So yay! Plus they only live about 3 years. I like oppossums, and Dug would LOVE to be friends with our neighborhood oppossum. Last time we saw him, he played dead. So Dug laid down next to him. After about 10 minutes, he apparently thought, "Well, so much for this plan," and got up and scurried away. Dug was heartbroken ...
