I hope every one had a wonderful Christmas.
As you know, today was the day I was going to begin my big clean out. But Dave decided he wasn't in any hurry to get to the cottage this year. And while it's nice to have some extra time with him, cleaning things out is not something I want to start with him underfoot.
We know our limitations, we don't cook together, we don't build furniture together and we definitely don't clean and declutter together. (the problem in all those things is we both like to be in charge, and neither is willing to give way)
So instead, we've spent most of the day relaxing.... and for me, that means knitting...
...and that means getting back to projects that got neglected for Christmas. In this case, sock one of a pair of man socks for Sam's husband.
Tomorrow, the second one will be cast on, and they'll be tucked away for travel knitting.... cause I'm in the mood for lace!

Nice sock! I think of you every time I move my cat stitch marker! I love it!
I am "deChristmasing" the house today so I can get back to what I want to be doing. Wheels back out, loom back out...I've got so many wips tucked away that it's going to take me forever to get them going again. What I need is a good snow storm to keep me in the house for a few days. That's not going to happen. It's 60 here again today-with even more rain. :(
awwww. Socks are pretty!!
We are having a family/friend party today. Still Christmasing!
We have a tiny house and rarely stash things. Planning to sell the house and move in the coming year..perhaps. so we are not collecting ANYTHING.
You will feel so good purging
I know what you mean. When my husband and I do something together, we agree which one is 'in charge' and the other one lends hands as directed. But we generally do have to agree who is lead and who is assistant before we start!
