Just a bit

I know this is suppose to be a knitting blog... but there just hasn't been much knitting going on....
In fact, two repeats on this poor sock is all I've managed. I blame spring fever.... my mind is going in every other direction except a yarny one.

But... I'm starting to feel the itch to stitch... and Dave's heading off to the cottage this week, so I'm going to have plenty of time to myself (cooking and chores go right out the window when he's not home!)

So... soon my pretties... soon.....

Just this morning my sister and I had a discussion about whether it was too early to hit a garden centre. It's definitely too early now, but if it stays mild then maybe we can anticipate the May24th weekend by a couple of weeks?

Surveying the garden this morning I noticed that the crocuses and tulips are up a couple of inches from the ground!

I hear you , we have had some beautiful weather this weekend and our snow is going fast . I actually can see some lawn in the backyard . I can also relate to enjoying some alone time and just kicking back to do whatever pleases you . Not a long time but a few days or a week is perfect . Enjoy your week !

That's a very pretty sock-start! It's really windy here at the moment and pretty wet, too. Not much gardening going on but the spring flowers are blooming like crazy.

I pretty much just wrote the same post for tomorrow-minus the alone time. I am sooooo jealous. The Mister is part of my problem. I can't sit down a minute without him needing me to do something outside now that the weather is nice again. I need a rainy day.

It may only be two repeats but it shows great promise!

The sock is off to a beautiful start. I definitely feel pulled in different directions than knitting, but I know that I really want to knit but ... always a big but.

I hope you and Dave enjoy your time (I know you enjoy your time together, but who are we fooling it's nice to have a little time to ones self :)
