Two if by sea monster

You may recall, that at the beginning of the month, I brought home a couple of lovely ladies for the collection.
In the same post, I mentioned I'd discovered they had a Loch Ness dolly... well, it didn't take me long to find her on Amazon, and yesterday, she was delivered right to my door.
Meet Lorna McNessie. As always, the devil is in the details, and this little monster has tonnes of details
Webbed hands, arm and leg fins, scales (her skin is even a little sparkly), Nessie on her skirt, celtic belt, argyle  top... and it doesn't stop there
Fabulous luggage
Celtic Nessie jewelry
And like any good Scottish Lass... a plaid tam.

And... since her purchase price was one penny short of getting free shipping, I had to find something else to put in my cart... so this fantastic beastie jumped right in
Yep.. they make mermaid dolls. This is Toralei from the Great Scarrier Reef series. Normally she's a regular old werecat - but in this series, she's full on Cat-Fish
Those back fin, not only make her look a bit like a lion fish, they also glow in the dark!!!
She's not as detailed as Lorna McNessie, but she does have great sparkly make up and seaweed necklace. Oh.. and she does one other thing.
Her bottom fin adjust so she can stand on her own.

Here's all the lovely ladies together on their shelf
With Punk Rock Hello Kitty, and Frank and RiffRaff, of course.

A sporran! How cute. I had to do a costume for a barbie/ken doll in college for one of my fashion classes. I chose to do Scottish attire for Ken. Never will I ever sew doll clothes! But it was fun researching 16th Century Scottish Kilts.

That's quite a collection. The details on the Nessie doll are quite amazing!

What is Hello Kitty doing in there? ROFL

Glad you found some cool dolls.

The other night on Tiny House Hunters there was a little boy. He had some of those dolls.
