Dagnabbit!
On the weekend, I finished up the toe of the first Nutkin sock.
And doesn't it just look great? I was so excited to start the second sock on my Monday commute. I figured I could probably get most of the leg done between morning and afternoon rides.
Sadly.... this...
...is all I got done. I some how managed to leave a dpn at home... agian! I blame the 5:30 am alarm... I'm just not meant to be up that early!

Your sock looks lovely! My grandmother knitted socks and I loved wearing them. Sadly she has been gone for twenty years now.

Ha-ha-ha...love the pigeon comment...too funny (and true for me). I get up at 5:30 and believe that I am awake and functioning, but have often proven otherwise to myself and others. I do love your sock!
I've done that too. It is sooooo frustrating.
Now that's a bummer! I am so not a morning person either. The first one is looking great. On the bright side at least you still have the other dbp somewhere at home. Would be worse if you lost it completely.
LOVE the sock and colors going on. Ugh oh. Sorry your forgot a needle. Even sorrier about the alarm clock. I had a fight with mine for years! Im so an evening person. :)
The nutkins look great! Leaving a dpn behind is why I tried the circulars way back when....
