Dave ate the very first bean out of the garden the other day, but today I went out and brought in the first harvest of the season....
Yup - a bug-eaten strawberry, four beans and the tiniest cutest purple pepper ever...
Seriously - how cute is this pepper?????
There's a few more white strawberries, lots of beans still growing, and with a couple of days of good sun, I'm going to have a nice haul of cherry tomatoes. Gardening is fun!

That pepper IS cute.
We are way behind. Our three hot pepper plants are just about 4" tall. Luckily they handle the heat and humidity of summer just fine.
My peas are all flowers, but no peas yet! The beans are doing really well, especially whatever I planted in the far right tire. (I put green beans in one, yellow in the other, can't remember which was which, lol.) Two tires had zucchini, but only one is growing. We had so much rain I think the other ones rotted. (Now we're in a sunny, hot, humid heat wave!) Think if I can remember when I get off work tomorrow I will stop in to the garden centre I drive by every day and get some tomato plants.
Love that pepper! Never seen one like that before. I just put in our second crop of beans as the first ones are quite done already. The peas are gone now too but I can't find anymore seeds in the stores. I guess I need to do some surfing.
Gardening is fun and eating what you grow is even more fun!
It's a start!! Soon you can plan a meal around your garden produce. Yum.
