Squared off!

It feels strange....
The last of the barn-raising squares has fallen off my needles and onto the blocking board. Once these are dry, I'll begin the monumental task of attaching them all together. There are many options, from simply sewing them, to crocheting... but I'm going to try something different. I've got a couple of balls of solid black Regia in my stash. So I'm going to try picking up the stitches on the side of each square, then doing a three needle bind-off. It should give a neat, raised border, and maybe make the blanket look a little like a stained-glass panel. We shall see....

I think that sounds lovely. Can't wait to see the finished blankie.
