People frequently comment on how lucky I am to have a job I can do from home. And while I agree in most respects, it's not without it's downsides. Aside from the dangers of living in pajamas, never brushing your teeth and occasionally forgetting what day it is...
The water-cooler gossip is decidedly dull
And my at-home colleagues are much more demanding and have zero respect for my personal space.

hahaha - love the water cooler comment.
A fun post!
I hear ya! Even though I don't "work" in the home, I still have those demanding co-workers at my house. I wonder if I can find them a job outside of the home? At least mine don't perch on my shoulders, they would never fit.
You must check out "My Cats Are My Co-Workers" on FB! Hiliarious stuff! You and she have the same issues.
I would love to work from home. One day a week lol. Very cute post
I *loved* working from home! A bad day at home beat a good day in the office.
Um your co-workers are WAY cuter than mine! Um is he on your shoulder? LOL That picture is awesome.

You made me laugh with this post. I bet there are downsides to working at home but look at the kitty bliss you have.
This was a great post!!! Even this Grand-Mom can relate to the demands of working from home!
