The great knit-cation: Day 1

Yep - I'm on vacation! Woohoo!

While others in my office have used their time off to travel to Italy, Ireland,  the Bahamas and the like, I'm travelling from my bed to my couch everyday and doing nothing but knitting.

Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration - I do have some mini-travels planned, and there's still housework to be done, but mostly, this week is going to be all about the knitting!

I started things off right by getting my housework out of the way early this morning and settling in on the couch. Tux was already there:
Rocky arrived soon after:
And Peno licked the windows...
(Yeah... what can I say, she's a special cat. Actually, I think the condensation was blocking her view of the birds.)

Now I know I promised that I'd reserve my weekends for working on Hitofude... but I was pretty close to getting the left shoulder of Old Town done...
So I did just that. Now I pick up stitches all around, and work on the sleeves and body. But it will wait until Monday at least. I really do need to give Hitofude some love...

I'm ignoring my knitting today cos the weather has been wonderful and instead I've weeded, planted lettuces and done a little work. Next is hopefully some weaving cos I'm still waiting for my beading tool!

I'm enjoying a mini staycation home today. Nobody better ask me to do anything. I have big plans on the couch with some needles and string.

LOL! I feel you. Sometimes you just want to work on what you want. As long as you keep showing us lovely knits I don't care what you knit on!!!

Oh, this sounds so lovely! (And I giggled at Peno. Cats. Such odd little creatures sometimes.)

Have a wonderful holiday and vacation. Happy Thanksgiving!

It's been awhile since we've seen a full shot of the handsome Peno. He's quite a guy.

Happy Thanksgiving.
