Of all the creatures on this planet, I think this time of year is hardest on poor Rocky.
Mother Nature just can't make her mind up what she wants to do. And while most days have been clear and sunny, and the yard is free of snow - it's still too cold to keep the doors open for long.
That means the poor boy is only getting minimal outdoor time (maybe 5-10 minutes a day). But he feels like he should be getting so much more, since all that nasty snow is gone. He just doesn't understand that unlike him, I don't have a fur coat.
Soon, my Rocky boy, soon....

It's hard on the outside kitties too. They get a warm day and then it's back to freezing And that wind......ugh. It's hard to feed them. Their food flies away.
That face says ...........not soon enough!!!
Poor Rocky. If only Mother Nature would let HIM run things ... ;-)
Patience, thy name is not cat.
Me and Rocky...we are very impatient. SNOW? tomorrow here in Chicago...possibly 60s on Sunday. The cats will be on the screened porch until our 50 mph winds blow. Im serious. Your kitty is gorgeous
Is it just me or does that picture really make it look like Rocky is sulking/pouting? It's awesome. Wishing him some good outdoor times soon.
