I will have knitting for you soon, I promise. But first...
It'd been a few weeks since I'd been up to see this little monster. And as you can see...
She's growing like a weedm but I don't think she's going to get as big as Lady. (Who is HUGE for a female lab - she's even bigger than most male labs).
She's still all teeth and has no respect for my authority. But no surprise. Lady was the same. So were Sam's labs. In fact, so has every other dog I've ever met. I'm just not alpha enough.
When Mom and Dad brought Jem home, they were a little worried about how Lady would handle it. She's quite old, and has always been an only dog. But I knew they didn't need to worry. After a brief adjustment period, Lady realized she's got a playmate who's always up for a game of keep away...
Of course, Jem wins in the end... mostly because Lady just can't play that long.
And when it's time for a nap....
They are a perfectly stackable pair.

Awwwwwwwwwww...how could you NOT be in love with BOTH of those sweet pups!
It's so nice they bonded so well. Pup and The Mister's Maltese hate each other. Spoiled Pup also isn't playing nice with the kitties anymore. She can't hurt them since they are twice her size and much faster but she is making it clear to them she won't share her space or her food. They are as bad as kids anymore.
They grow so fast don't they?! They are both beautiful....such shiny coats!
Oh I love that second to last photo of the stackable Labs! So cute. I love to see the love.
So sweet!! I love the stacking sleep positions. My older dog would never allow the pup to do that, he rarely even let him sleep close by, always got up and walked away!
