Curse broken...

... or so I hope.
The second Nutkin is well underway, and I'm very happy. I'm itching to cast on for a new sock. I don't like to have more than one pair on the needles at once.

I have discovered that I can knit about two full pattern repeats on the train portion of my commute. That should mean - barring tangles, forgotten DPNs and other hiccups - I could have these off the needles and on my feet by the end of the month! Here's hoping!

Nutkin is looking great!!!! Love the colors. Love how you have really embraced the commuter lifestyle to your liking and benefit. Others would have just complained. You are inspiring!

Nutkin looks wonderful in that yarn! I can't wait to finish the sock I am "almost" done. It has taken me way too long to knit one pair of socks for a friend. Anxious to start the next "thing!!"

Woo hoo!!!!! I was thinking about that when I was riding Metro on Saturday. I had an hour drive each way for 20 years. Think of the knitting I could have done if I could have used the subway.

I love how that pattern is working up. It is going right into my queue.

So pretty to see the yarn and pattern work together! You will have them on your feet in no time! I make only one pair at a time-I have several items going at once but only one pair of socks so I can see good progress on them!
