Quilty love

Just when I thought I had nothing to blog about (Things have slowed down on the Agatha sleeve, and I forgot a dpn, so no work was done on Nutkin on the commute)... I checked the mail!

There was a little packet from Gayle of Mangofeet. (If you don't read her blog, you should - she does the most amazing quilting... and a little knitting too!)

In it was one of the adorable pincushions she made a few months back...
But it gets better... it's double-sided!
Too cute! And even better.....
She slid in one of her piggy blocks! (Or as she called it "a piglet quilt starter kit") If you don't read her blog... she's been making these piggy blocks for months... and just recently turned them into the most amazing quilt!

And take a closer look..
This little piggy is made of kitties! Now I have to go play in my fabric stash and figure out something cool to do with it!

Thanks Gayle! You're the best!

Ohhhhh.....that is so adorable! And what a cute idea to send you off a starter block. I'll have to go take a peek at her blog since I need some quilty inspiration today myself.

I love the little block! It's fun to spot great parts that make up the whole! Nice touch!

Adorable! I say a wall hanging would be perfect for Piggie.
