Painting the town

First... let me say thank you for the lovely comments and reception of Twyla. I'm really pleased with her, but the real kudos should go to Mom for spinning such lovely yarn.

And now.. I think I might have got startitis out of my system. At least I hope I have.

You see, last week, my boss informed me that I'll be jetting off to Chicago again for the third week of February. And real Chicago this time - our downtown office, not our main office way out in the middle of nowhere. One of my coworkers has promised to go to Navy Pier with me. We might even get to take the L.

But back to my point... it also means I'll most likely be taking Polkadot dress again. She travels well - doesn't take up much space, and doesn't wrinkle. And when I got up this morning, I thought, wouldn't it be nice to finally have a red cardigan to wear with her (Yes, I have Watershed, but it's winter... in Chicago!)... and didn't I already have a red cardigan on the needles...
I've got about 8 more inches to go on the body. If I have enough yarn, I might put longer sleeves on it... because yes, as I've designed the original, they aren't any longer than Watershed... and it's winter.. in Chicago...

So I've got five weeks to finish it. Totally do-able. Of course... then I got to thinking, wouldn't it be cool to also finish Old Town and do a photoshoot here...
Hmmm... something makes me think Dave might not be getting his scarf for Valentines day....

Chicago is on my list of US cities to visit, but never in February. LOL Brrr.

I love the red. It's going to be so pretty when it's done. Five weeks? Two cardigans? Sure! It would be cool to do the photo shoot there!

Sounds like a plan!
There is nothing better than to get fired up about a project when you are already half way home.
