Cat patch

Thanks for the well-wishes. I think the worst of it  has passed and I'm starting to feel more like myself.

Briefly, on Friday afternoon, I had a small bout of enery and I decided to use it by working on one of the quilts in one of my five quilt WIP boxes. Aliza in Wonderland is waiting on batting, and Deep Sea Stars is awaiting more batik fabric for sashing (which has been ordered and should arrive tomorrow),  and Spring Chick needs some sashing fabric too. That left only my Tuxie nine-patches, and an HST project I haven't shown you yet.

The HST project is at a stage where it requires a fair bit of thinking and I just wasn't up to that. So Tuxie squares it was!
I only had five left to make and it didn't take long to get them all together. I actually made nine in total, but decided since this is to be a lap blanket, I liked the layout better with eight. I'll probably make a pillow out of the ninth.

The squares still need a border, and their eyes and noses, but my cutting board got commandeered by my Snoopervisor...
So I figured it was a good time to take a break.

I do have some black/white paw fabric for borders on this one, but looking at those squares, I think the quilt could do with a pop of colour.. so you'll have to stay tuned for more surprises on this one!

Fun pattern! So glad you're feeling better. I need to get motivated to bind several quilts, my least favorite activity.

I can't wait to see the embellished faces.

Snoopervisor is like most supervisors .... gumming up the works. LOL

The Tuxies project is fun and cute. Who knew that a nine-patch could be transformed into an adorable kitty.

I love all those blocks you made last week. You've got a lot going on in the quilting department.
I hope you are feeling better. Migraines are no fun.
