There's something strange in Tomatoland

A few days ago I showed a picture of my tomatoes and noted that they were doing well. And they are. But around about the time I took those pictures, I noticed something a little odd about one of them.

When I bought them, they were all in one container and supposed to be of the Sweet Million variety (the same type I've bought every year.).  One was a little smaller than the others, but I thought nothing of it....

... but now, that one is still smaller than the other two (not but much), and the leaves are much darker and larger. And the fruit.... well take a look...

These are the cherry tomatoes...
And the oddball...

Almost double the size and more oblong... I'd say maybe grape tomatoes, but I think they are too large. Perhaps Roma? I don't really know enough about tomatoes to decide. I don't actually eat them - they are just fun to grow.

Oh well - I guess we'll see when they ripen

Interesting, they could be roma. Wait and see!

They do look like plum tomatoes or big grape tomatoes. I love tomatoes hot off the vine. Fried green tomatoes are the best not to mention green tomato relish. Man. I miss Daddio's garden.
