FO: Oakville

Just as last week was all about the sewing, this week is all knitting!

Another productive weekend saw me finish the Oakville socks
And I'm very glad! It's a pretty simple lace pattern, but I admit, I was a little bored of it by the end. Of course, I'm like that with pretty much every pair of socks I knit.
It's a nice pattern though, one that creates a pretty wavy little eyelet. The yarn is Alley Cat, in a colourway created by Miss P, called Mad Hatter. It was just perfect for this pattern - a nice warm red with touches of rust and brown.

Now... onto the next pair!

So pretty! I like that foot pattern very much.

Seems like RED is the color for socks this month.

I can't think of a sock pair that i finished and wasn't ready to be done . Im all about the new yarn casting on, and then I push through second sock syndrome. That said, I LOVE your pattern and color choice. Lovely

So pretty! But I know what you mean - even when I'm enjoying a pair, I'm usually more than ready for them to be finished. :-)

Gorgeous socks. Yeah I've got a few items that I'm enjoying the knit, but I'm also ready for it to be done?

They are perfect for Valentines day!! The only project I didn't tire of at the end was my scrappy blanket....I loved knitting that thing and had a hard time ending it.
