I did not go fancy with the quilting at all. Just a simple line of stitches outside each block and through the sashing corners. It was done in no time!
It got baby Tweety flannel for backing (and it is the softest flannel I have ever felt!!!) The backing has all the colours from the front, which makes me happy, even though you never see the two together.
The binding was a tough decision. I had several solids in my stash, but none of them were really doing it for me. The only one that really matched was a pink - but then I felt the quilt had too much pink.
In the end, I went with the second option I'd bought for the sashing but decided was too thin. Doubled over as binding, it was much sturdier. I still don't know if it was the best choice. I feel like I should have gone out and got a brighter yellow or a matching green, but in the end, it's done and I can live with it.
And... my productive weekend has left me with TWO empty WIP boxes.... oh what should I sew next?

It looks wonderful. The lighter binding was a good choice. Well done!
I think the binding is fine. Sometimes you need the eye to focus on the "picture" and not the "frame". Great job.
Very pretty and that ultra soft flannel will feel so good against Wren! Well done. I like the binding too.
Wren is sooooo lucky!!!! Beautiful work. Sewers impress the heck out of me
