Cloudy with a chance of Christmas

I said I wasn't going to do much Christmas knitting this year, and save myself some stress. But then I looked at my finances... and out came the needles.....

This is the Antler Hat in some lovely blue-grey Big Cat that mom dyed up (colour is Cloudy). I'm about half way through my list and optimistic that it won't get too stressful... but of course that can change... Christmas isn't that far off!

Love the colour. I decided against Christmas knitting as well, so how is it that I started a Honey Cowl for my sister yesterday?

Auuughh...you used the C-word! *sticks fingers in ears* I'm not listening! There are weeks and weeks left to knit gifts....phooey. I'm not convincing myself.

It is sooooo beautiful. I love the pattern and the yarn. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas when I am driving home from work at night.

Oh the texture with that yarn and pattern combo, loves it -- as the kids say. Yes, I too thought I would forgo Christmas/Holiday present and now I have a small list. How'd that happen? I told myself I would only obligate myself to one, and that is the Teacher gift and the hats for the elderly holiday give away.
