September garden update

September is almost half over (how did that happen???), but the garden just keeps on going...

The sunflower bloomed!
There were actually two stalks, but it looks like some crafty squirrel ran off with the head of the shorter one...
The Butterfly Bush isn't as showy as last year, but she's still kicking.
They really gives a nice pop of purple to that side of the yard.
While the pink Dahlia still hasn't bloomed, the black one is doing quite nicely.
And the Susans will bloom right until the frost. I really love these Cherry ones.
Oddly enough, after only giving me two tomatoes, the grape tomato plant decided it's going to produce at least one more.
The raspberries on the other hand.....
They are just showing off.  Due to the lack of rain and stifling heat, the summer berries were quite small. But these autumn berries are big and juicy.  And every branch is covered. I get a handful every day!
