Just a little bit of lace

Work continues on Mary Mead, but I needed something to break up the monotony of the sleeves. So I dug out some Slinky Cat and cast on for the Tiger Eye scarf. It's a free pattern that was all over Ravelry a few weeks ago.
While it's called Tiger Eye, once blocked, I think it looks a little like owl faces. So it's the perfect gift for an up coming birthday. If I can do at least two repeats a week, I should have it done in time.

Pretty! I'll have to go take a look at that pattern.

I can see the pattern emerging already. And it looks real nice in that plumb color yarn. Can't wait to see it grow!

Love the purple yarn. So pretty with that particular pattern.
I am plugging along monogamously on my new sweater project. So far Im very happy with it. Big yarn, fast progress. Easy pattern

It IS a pretty pattern isn't it. I was trying to decide whether I could repeat it across as a baby blanket but then I decided that even for me that sounded a bit overwhelming :)
