These boots were made for walking...

The day Tux died, I was home from work. With nothing much to do and in need of a distraction, I started poking around on the internets.

I'd been watching a particular pair of boots on ebay for a while, and I decided to see if they were still available....

They were, and I thought to myself... my cat just died. I totally need those boots!!!
Dark green, leather... what's not to need? Of course, it's way to hot to wear them now, but they will get plenty of use come fall and winter. They are made by Nine West - my absolute favourite shoe company. Quality, comfort and style all wrapped into one. They tend to be a fair bit more than my old Payless shoes, but they are worth it. And, like these, I can usually find something I like on clearance. This makes nine pairs of Nine Wests in my collection (hey... I think I should get a prize for that!

And, since this particular ebay seller offers a discount on shipping if you buy more than one pair...
These pretty lacy things may have popped into my cart as well.... any they will get lots of wear over the next few months.

But now, I really have to buckled down and get my financial house in order... so no more shoe purchases for the rest of the summer. It shouldn't be too hard, because I'm only starting to wear the shoes I got from the last little bout of online shopping...
