This weekend, Wren's parents found themselves in need of a sitter, so Burton ended up with a house guest for a few hours.
He put on a good show for the little Miss, though he much prefers it when she's confined to her playpen.
The visit gave me the opportunity to see my knits in action...
And give Wren her birthday gift...
Which she absolutely adored. She dragged it around the livingroom for about 20 minutes, so I have high hopes it will become a treasured blankie as she grows.

The dragging around is a good sign, she obviously has taste.
What a cutie! She's at the perfect age for a blankie.
What a cutie! And I love her name.
She looks adorable in her dress, and the quilt looks very popular already. :-)
What a great model for your handwork! lol Nice to have a visit, isn't it?!
What a sweetie!! The dress is adorable on her and the quilt has turned out to be perfect!
Aw!! Adorable. I have been blessed to have 3 items become the treasured blanket. The quilt I made my Jeep Girl, the crochet blanket I made my cousin's daughter, and the knit blanket I made my great-nephew. Now if my future grandkids don't adore my handmade items my daughters are gonna hear about it! LOL
Don't you love it when you see gifted handknits being used? Wren is a cutie!
Precious photos: I especially love the last one. The dress is adorable on her, and the quilt looks like it was a hit.
She could NOT be cuter and she looks very pleased with her extra-special blankie!
Great photos with a beautiful little model. What a beautiful dress and a great quilt as well.
Ok she is adorable!!! That dress and quilt are wonderful as well. Great job!
She's precious and the dress fits her perfectly. Looks like the blankie is a win too!
Alright that's a whole lot of cute. Makes me want a cat and a baby and a quilt. That's saying something, maybe not sane, I might need some more sleep. ha!
