Golden roses

With Lily's shawl off the needles, it's time to focus on my coworker's wedding shawl
I've finished the centre medallion and have a few rows done on the first side. Since I'm now only working a quarter of the stitches, this should feel like it's flying... but you know how it goes.

The wedding is on July 29th, but I'd like to have the shawl off the needles and blocked by the end of June.

That center motif is gorgeous! I'm really looking forward to seeing this one progress and I KNOW you will do fine. You are one speedy knitter!

Valerie, the shawl is breathtaking! I hope you can share a photo of your coworker wearing it.
Take care.

This shawl sure is beautiful! Yes, I like to be ahead on my deadlines, too!

This is so beautiful!
(I always start to worry when lace knitting feels like it's flying- it usually means I've made a catastrophic error somewhere along the way...)

I just can't say enough how gorgeous this is!!! If only I were brave enough to attempt it for myself. sigh

This is beautiful! And, I have no doubt that you will finish by your deadline (if not before!!). She is a lucky friend.

I am stunned by how lovely the delicate knitting you are doing is coming out. It would be a huge disaster for this knitter I'm afraid.
I love to see your work. It is always inspiring.
