I mentioned the other week that Relic has been absolutely full of beans. I think part of it is spring fever, but also that he's just getting more comfortable in our home. When he was still outside last summer, we'd try to toss balls and play feather stick in the yard, and he just wasn't that interested.
But now he's got some favourite toy mice, and he loves the cat tunnel, and of course, his wrestling sessions with Burton (who's becoming more of a match for him as he grows).
It's so fun to watch him frolic. He's come a long way from the
sad stray cat I started feeding last spring.

He certainly looks like a happy boy!
What a cute picture. I'm sure he has Spring fever (Tyg certainly does), but I'm also betting that Relic finally believes he has a Home and Love.
What a happy ending! I feel that way about Herbie. I snatched him inside almost 7 years ago when he was just a sad beat up kitten. He is just now feeling comfortable enough to sit on the couch while we are in the room and that makes me so happy.
Building trust can take time, and it's obvious that Relic feels comfortable in your home. Bless you for welcoming him into your home.
What a beauty. So handsome with his white accents.
Such a beautiful cat and a very happy adjustment for all of you! Sweet boy!
What a lucky guy! Glad he feels at home.
He is lovely. Im glad his personality has emerged and he's such a great fit!
Yay, Relic!
