And now some knitting

I caked up the Slinky Cat for the next sleeve on Lestrange, but i just didn't have the gumption to work on it yet.

Instead, I knit white lace.
I love white lace. Add in some leaves and I love it even more. This is my newest sock design in the Panda Silk. Love, love ... soooooo much love.

This is a little ankle sock, so I'm already at the heel. I don't know how much knitting I'll get done this week though - I really want to get moving on my painting. I've been looking through some old files and getting really inspired by my work

Here's the companion painting to the one I showed yesterday.
After all these years - I still love those flowers....

I can't believe I missed yesterday's post. I had to go back when you mentioned the painting in it.
I was very impressed with both of the paintings. So much talent! Funny how you can be good at something and then just stop. I also used to paint and then put it away in favor of wooly things. I found painting exhausting while knitting and other fiber pursuits is restorative.
Love those socks. I don't own a pair of white lace socks. I may have to rethink that.

Very pretty pattern.

It looks good with that little bit of sheen that Panda Silk has.

The painting is adorable. Love her little pixie ears.

Perfectly timed designed - a lacy white flowery ankle sock is spring down to the toes!

The socks are very pretty, and I love Panda Silk. But I am wondering how you can face white yarn at this time of year, especially after all the gorgeous flower colors in your shop...clearly, Canadians are just that much tougher than the rest of us!

Wow, follow your muse and enjoy your painting! Thanks for sharing your work, it's been a new treat here. The lace socks can wait, but they are really lovely.

If you're not working as a graphic artist, you're missing a huge opportunity! I'm so impressed with your artistic talent.

Love the socks, too!
