Ready to pop

Just a little more sunshine and warmth and this garden is just going to explode
My neighbour's lilac (which is dark purple) is really old, and absolutely covered in blooms right now. It's also HUGE! Mine is only three years old, and much smaller, so she takes a little longer to bloom. But when she does - look out. (She's white/pale pink with double-bloom blossoms!)
And as pretty as the backyard is going to smell - the side yard is going to be just as nice. Just a day or two more and the Lily-of-the-Valley will go wild.
I'm impatiently waiting for the Alium to pop - it's been looking like this for a week now! I think this one will be pink, but there should also be some yellow and white scattered throughout the gardens.
The Pasque Flower already has one bloom, but as you can see, it's about to have many more.

Are you waiting for anything to pop?

Just the housing market. LOL

No garden for me right now. I have two orchids and a potted plant that flowers, but nobody is on the "brink" right now.

Your garden is going to be lovely this year.

Hi Valerie, your gardens will be lovely. I am waiting for so many things to pop! This being our first Spring in this home I can't wait to see how the gardens look. We tore out so many overgrown and dead bushes in the gardens and replanted them with perennials.
Have a good day, enjoy the sunshine!

Ahhh, your yard will smell lovely! Our lilac is past blooming now. I think it has suffered the past few years due to a vine that snared itself around so much of the lilac. Fletch finally got that out last weekend. What a mess! Our Lily of the Valley are in full bloom and some of our Iris are just beginning to open. We usually count on our Iris the first week of May, but with the cooler temps we've been having this Spring they are a bit delayed.

oh yes! Lilac bushes are full on the north side. THey are a bit behind everyone elses but they should be delightful. We have some new tulips out in the driveway area that are blooming. Waiting on iris too.

Oh, how exciting! I can smell the lilac and the lilies almost!
My mandevilla is ready to bloom-covered in buds right now!

The buds are every bit as pretty as the flowers, don't you think?! It seems as though something is always blooming here, even in winter. We have camelia bushes that bloom in December. It's wonderful.
